SEPARATE ENTITY IN POLITICS. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. (Received August 21, 10.45 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 21. At the annual conference of the Farmera’ and Settlers’ Association, Mr Killen, in his presidential address, said that the Progressive Party in the Assembly held the balance of power. The split in the party before last election had resulted in consolidating the party into a body representing the primary resources and determined to uphold the separate entity of the party at all costs.
