Gable advioe has been received in Napier of the untimely death of Albert Edward Redshaw, aged. 26, At Chicago, United States of America. No details ere to hand, but recent advice was that deceased was in the best of health. Deceased left New Zealand seven years ago to further his musical studies, and a little over twelve months ago was in Napier on a holiday visit. Mr Lervey, S.M., who is to succeed Mr J. S. Barton, S.M., on the Gisborne circuit, is expected to reach Gisborne about the end of the month. Mr Barton leaves for Wellington on August 25th, and there will, therefore, be a short period during which these will be no magistrate in Gisborne; but in view of the fact that the Supreme Court session opens on August 25th, it ts not expected that any inconvenience will be caused. A cablegram received by the New Zealand Alliance states that the Hon. John G. Woolley died at Grenada, Spain, on Sunday. Air Woolley had an international reputation as a Prohibition orator .mj worker, and was on a world tour in connection with the campaign.
