RUMOURS OF RECONSTRUCTION. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received July 4, 8.30 p.m.) LONDON, July 4. Unconfirmed reports are current of a Cabinet reconstruction involving Lord Curzon, who is ill; Earl Balfour; and Air Stanley Baldwin, who may succeed Mr E. Shortt, the latter probably going on the bench. Mr C. A. C. McUurdy’s name is mentioned in connection with the Board of Trade. Lord Curzon is at present Foreign Secretary; 3lr Stanley Baldwin is President of the Board of Trade; Air Shortt is Home Secretary; and Mr 3lcCurdy is Joint Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasury.
