VISIT FROM N.S.W. TEAM PEACH MEMORIAL DAY. PSB PRESS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH. July 3 At a meeting of the management committee of the New Zealand Hockey Association it was decided to ask all associations to make August 20th a peace r e* morial day, and a sub-committee was set up to ascertain what support is libely to be accorded by the secondary schools tournament. In connection with, the inter-island match, the following selectors were appointed North Island, Mr L.‘ H. Norton (Auckland) and Mr A. Manning (Wellington); South Island, Mr W. Dee (Nelson), Mr C. Bellamy (Canterbury), and ilr J. Hogg (Otago). A protest, forwarded by the Wairarapft Association, in reference to a referee changing a decision was dismissed: the referee being within his right, as a rulo had been broken. In connection with the visit'of the New South Wales team it wa6 agreed that matches be played at Auckland, Palmerston Nprth, New Plymouth, Nelson, Christchurch, and Dunedin, with a test match at Wellington.
