A WTHY CAUSE

SIB ARTHUR PEARSON’S MEMORIAL FUND. A very charming play by the wellknown writer, Jerome K. Jerome, will be presented by Mr A. Stanley Warwick at the concert chamber of the oTwn Hall on Wednesday next, when “Sunset" will he performed in aid of the Pearson Memorial Fund. Thj# will be preceded! by that very dramatic little sketch, ‘ The Bishop’s Candlesticks,” in which Mr Warwick will again sustain the role ot Jean Valjean. Among those who are giving their services for_this most deserving cause are Misses Lilian Grey, Leah Hyman, Ruby Walsh, Zena Freeman, Rosalind Atkinson, and Messrs Phipps Williams, Vernon Oswin, Edmond Ryder, Arthur Greening, with Mr Ernest Palllser ae stage manager. A strong ladies’ committee has boen convened by Mrs (Colonel) Pow, and Mr U. \V. Shallcrass (fl acting as honorary secretary. It is hoped that all those who can will support this worthy cause by their presence. Seats can be secured, at the Bristol Piano Company.
