The police have now collected * the names of 75 prisoners connected with a conspiracy lo murder the heads of the Republic. They arc mostly young ex-ofUeers and students, with a fait spritiUlin-g of ox-naval officers. Arrots continue in all parts of Germany. Koohenmeister, owner of the motorcar in which Rathenau was t-hot. has been arrested at Tyrol. He is a wealthy Saxon manufacturer, whose place was found to contain a hidden store of mine-throwers, machine-guns, rifles and %mmunition. TELL-TALE DOCUMENT LETTER LEADS TO ARREST OF MURDERERS. (Received July 3, 4.5 p.m.) BERLIN, July 2. A lover’s letter led to the arrest of Dr. Ratheuau’s murderers. It read: — “Wo will go out to-night; do you get me, dear? We will meet at eight o'clock at the main entrance of Luna Park. Let ine know. —Hermann Frisch.” This was written by Fischer to the housemaid of a small pension ,in Berlin. Fischer did not keep the appointment, but, instead, went drinking with accoin/plioea in the murder. The housemaid returned home in disgust. Next morning she read of the murder and thought her unfaithful lover might be one of the men. She communicated with the police, and his rooms were aearohed. Papers revealed his identity, -with the result that the police offered • million marks reward for hie arrest.
