LATE MR MILLER
SUCCESSFUL SCHOLASTIC CAREER. FEU, PRESS ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, July 3. Mr William Robert Miller, one ol the victims of the Mangahao tunnel disaster, was the youngest son _of Mrs Miller, of this city. (He wais dux of the Forbury primary school, and also a (successful pupil at the Otago Boys’ High School. He left New Zealand with the Engineers in the Seventeenth Reinforcements and served tnrough a great portion of the war. He visited Canada and the United States with a view of acquiring* a knowledge of his profession. His eldest brother James, da clerk of the •court at Wanganui, Alexander is employed at Messrs Wrigrt, Stephenson and Company, and the youngcut brother is employed in the A.M.P.-So-ciety. Deceased was about 27 years of age.
