UNEMPLOYMENT
EHANDALLAH ROAD CONTRACT. RELIEF FOR ABORT 50 MEN. Steady progress is being made by the men who lhave been given unemployment relief work at the Prince of Wales Park. The Mayor stated yesterday that further relief would foe afforded l in a few days’ time on the new Khandaliah road. Several men. were at present doing preliminary work, and: about a dozen men would shortly be taken on as a first gang. The construction of the road would eventually give employment to about 50 men.
