SENSATIONAL INCIDENT
armoured car FIRED ON. GREAT EXPLOSION FOLLOWH (Received Jolv 2, 6.5 usl) LONDON, Jab’l, Rebels stationed in Moran’s Hotel, Talbot street, tho present headqnaxs tors, fired on an armoured car emtairw ing National troops. Immediately afterwards the car ran over a Una mine in tho centre of the roadway. A' terrific explosion followed. Several oocnipants of the war were wounded. All the approaches to -the hotel were subsequently barricaded in preparation for an attack. Sniping is proceeding in many streets, which are rapidly becoming deserted. The Dail troops are being reorganised for the next offensive. The irregulars in tlie morning seized lorries, carts, bread vans, and other vehicles in the centre of Dublin and proceeded to erect barricades. They also visited the vegetable market and took commodities. LONDON, June 30. There is fierce fighting in the neighbourhood of Talbot street. Irregular troops are sweeping over a wide area. British soldiers passing through the city had to lie down to escape the bul lets.
