Mr C. Dempster has succeeded Mr A. J. Moody as mate of the Echo. The Union Company advise that the 1 Kaiwarra was to leave Suva on Saturday for Levuka, Lautoka and Auckland. The John, which left Wellington on Saturday afternoon for Picton and Wanganui, is due back at Wellington on Wednesday to load for south. The ketch Kira arrived at Auckland from Wellington on Wednesday night and discharged ammunition at the North Head on Thui'sday. The auxiliary schooner Huia left Melbourne on Saturday week with a cargo of general produce and a small quantity of explosives for Auckland. Sne is expected at Auckland to-morrow. The coastal steamer Wootton was on the slip at Lyttelton on Saturday to receive a cleaning and painting. She will arrive at Wellington to-morrow, and is to sail again for Lyttelton on Wednesday. * , The HolmdaJe,. which left Wellington on Saturday afternoon for Dunedin and southern ports, will load in the south for Wellington and Wanganui. The vessel will sail from Wellington on Thursday evening for Nelson and New Plymouth, taking cargo for the latter port. . The Canterbury Company advise that the Storm, now at Wellington, will sail to-day with general cargo for Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. The Gale is due at Wellington on Wednesday from Dunedin, Timaru and Lyttelton, and is to eail on the same day for Wanganui. The vessel is due back at Wellington on' Friday next to load for southern ports. The Breeze is to dock at Port Chalmers to-day for a general overhaul. She will load at Dunedin on Wednesday, and subsequently at Oamaru, Timaru and Lyttelton for Wellington, where blio ia due next Sunday. The Breeze is to sail from Wellington next Monday for Wanganui. MAIMOA’S MOVEMENTS. The Bhaw, Savill and Albion Company's liner Maimoa arrived at Dunedin on Saturday from Lyttelton. Sho will discharge and load at Dunedin and Port Chalmers, and i« to load at Timaru, Gisborne and Wellington. The vessel is Wellington on the 15th inst,, and is to enil on the 20th for London via Monte Video and Teneriffe. RIMUTAKA LOADING. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Rimutaka is due at Wellington at the end of this week from Opua and Napier to complete Homeward loading. She is due at Auckland about August 12th. NAVUA LEFT SUVA. The Union Company have received advice that their Island steamer Navua loft Suva on last Friday evening for Apia and the Friendly Islands. MANUKA ARRIVES TODAY. A wireless niesage received last evening by the Union Company from their intercolonial passenger steamer Manuka, en route from Sydney, states that the vessel will arrive in the stream at Wellington at A 1.30 o'clock this morning. The .Manuka will be inspected in the anchorago by the Port Health Officer, and is expected to berth at No. 1, north (outer tee), Queen's wharf, about X p.m. to-day. The Manuka is timed to sail from Wellington at 11 o'clock on Thursday mom* inff. on the return trip to Sydney. THE OTARAMA. In order to complete discharge of general cargo from St. John. New York, and Philadelphia, the -New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Otarama left Dunedin on Saturday morning for Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. The vessel is to return to New Zealand this month to load under the supervision of the Federal Line at New Plymouth, Wanganui roadstead, Napier, and Wellington for West Coast ports of Great Britain. The Huddart-Parker Company have received cable advice that their intercolonial passeacer steamer Ulimaroa left Sydney at noon on Saturday for Auckland. * The vessel is due at the latter port on Wednesday, and will sail on the return trip on Friday.
