OBITUARY
NURSE EVERETT. Nurse Everett, who was on© of our keenest war workers, passed away yesterday afternoon after a long illness. The nurse, as she was affectionately known to her intimate friends, and to th© pubiio in general, was always willing to assist or organise any appeal for the benefit of our soldiers. She was also a familiar figure at Atlileti© Park and other Rugby football grounds, and many an injured footballer can testify to the excellent treatment received from her expert hands. Nurse Everett had confined her professional duties to massage since her arrival in New Zealand, about fifteen years ago, and was, in fact, on© of th© pioneers of massage treatment in Wellington. In London, however, she had a large experience in general nursing, and was ior several years a plague nurse on the River Thames. She will he regretfully missed by everyone who had the good fortune to know her.
