BERLIN MURDER
NUMEROUS SUSPECTS ALLEGED SLAYERS OP RATHENAU IDENTIFIED. ALL MONARCHISTS. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright Reuter's Telegram. BERLIN, June 29. It is officially stated that the murderers of Dr. Rathenau are Techow (a Borlin student). Fischer (a Saxon), and Ivnauer (ol : Mecklenburg). Altogether eighty arrests rvexe made, all the prisoners 'being members oi Monarchist organisations. They include Teehow's brother, a student aged twenty-one, who it is believed drove the murderers’ motorcar. Guenther, another student, was allegedly chief conspirator who worked out tho details of the murder, A third student named Stubenrauch, and Schutt, of Berlin, from whose garage the assassins obtained the motor-oar, are also among the prisoners.

ALLEGED CULPRITS CONPESS. NOTABLE GERMANS INVOLVED. (Received June 30, 8.20 p.m.) BERLIN, June 29. Techow, Fischer, and Kauer have been arrested for tho assassination of Dr Rathenau. The first-named was identified as the driver of the motorcar. Several members of an organised gang of conspirators were also arrested on charges of complicity, including von Killinger, who was acquitted on a charge of aiding Erzberger’s murderers. (Received June 30, 8.20 p.m.) LONDON, June 30. The “Daily Expresses’’ Berlin correspondent says that Techow, Fischer, and Kauer are members of the notorious monarchist organisation Consul and formerly belonged to the Ehrhaxdt Brigade. They confessed not only to the murders of Rathenau and Erzberger but also regarding the inner workings of the Consul. Facts relating to a hundred political murders committed since 1919 and Intherto a complete mystery are now fully known to the police. Startling revelations regarding the intimate relations between Ludendorff, Helfieridh, von J agpw and Count Westarp (leader of the Prussian Conservatives) and the murderers of Rathenau are disclosed by the arrest of a student named Guenther, who it is alleged secured a motorcar for Rathenau’s assailants. It is understood that Ludendorff, Belfferioh and Westarp, fearing arrest, are contemplating flight.
