KABOEI CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the above club was held in tho club a pavilion on Tuesday evening last, there being a good attendance of members. At the instance of the chairman, Mr J. B. Jordan, members stood for a few moments as a mark of respect to the late Mr S. H. Underwood. The report and babance-sheet were read, the latter showing the club to have a credit balance notwithstanding a heavy expenditure incurred bv the extension and painting of the pavilion. This latter, however, tended greatly to make the club’s fortnightly social evenings an unqualified success. Several new members were enrolled, and the following officers were elected for the ensuing season : —President, Mr M. P. Spiers; t ice-president, Mr A. G. Edwards; secretary, Mr G. A. Laird; treasurer, Mr F. Lyall; committee, Messrs Jordan, Dry den. Needham, Roberts, Mclntosh, Alf. Henderson, B. G. H. Burn, Whithair; delegate, Mr A. O. Edwards; auditor, Mt >' I. Dasent. The meeting concluded with a hearty vote of thinks to the outgoing committee, also to the Press for their kindly assistance during the past season.
