THE HERRIN TRAGEDY
JURY’S VERDICT AROUSES INDIGNATION. Australian and N.ZT Cable Association. NEW YORK, Juno 28. Newspapers throughout tho country are unanimous in condemning the verdict of the Herrin jury. They blamo the authorities of Williamson County, whore tho tragedy occurred, for not taking action, and nek why not a singlo arrest has been made. They declare that the outrage sullies the record of tho country, and is a black stain on unionism. Feeling i a running high.
