ARRIVAL AT TAUPO. MR FURKERT INJURED. PEB TRESS ASSOCIATION. TAUMARUNUI, June 28. News was received from Taupo that the missing Public Works resident engineer, Mr Keller, and the road foreman, Mr Gorlett, arrived at Mokai today, after cutting their way through the bush. They were five days’ overdue, and miasea the search party. Mr F. W. Furkert, e n gineer-in-chiet to the Public Works Department, while attempting to overtake the party searching from Waimiha for the missing men, fell over -a 6tump yesterday and broke two -ribs. He rode back to Waimiha to-day, came on by train to Taumarunui to-night, and was conveyed to the hospital. NEWS CONFIRMED. AUCKLAND, June 27. Advice haw been received that Keller and Corlett have reached Mokai, both well. They met the searchers close to the township.
