THE LARGS BAY

STILL WITHOUT A CREW. UNION WILL NOT GIVE WAY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. (Received June 27, 11.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 27. A stop-work meeting of the Seamen’s Union discussed the trouble on the Largs Bay. A resolution was adopted that the man objected to by the Commonwealth I.iue must be re-engaged on the vessel unless a satisfactory reason is given by the maeter for not re-em-ploying him. The secretary of the union stated that the union did not wish to introduce job control. It only wanted justice for each member of the crew.

A further attempt to engage the crew was unsuccessful.
