Deceased, who was only forty years of age, was the daughter of the late Mr John Murray, of Hojokuni. She had only been ill a few days,, her death being due to pneumonia. Deceased leaves a husband and four young children. Tho interment was at Petone. Shortly after midnight last night the Eastbourne Council’s ferry stcamei Duchess arrived back at town instead of remainmg at the bay for the night owing to tho heavy sea rendering it unsafe at the wharf at the bay.
