AUSTRALIAN MINISTERS IN CONFERENCE.
By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. PERTH, June 2. The conference of the Ministers of Agriculture of tho various States has resolved upon uniform pure seed legislation, providing uniform standards of germination, better examination of seeds at ports of entry, and uniform labelling (whether locally grown or imported). Another resolution is in favour of the extension of-cotton-grow-ing, with a guarantee for five years to assist the development of the industry, and the conference emphatically protests against the intervention of the Federal Government in the dairying industry,.as a useless expense.
