LEAGUE TEAMS
As there will be no club ohempionship matches -this afternoon, an inter-club match will be played at the Petone Stop Bank at 10 o’clock this morning between the junior and third Petone West teams. Following are the players-. J unior.—Aicheson, Richards, Gregory, Clarke, Harding, Heine, F. Love, Haseman, Bittle, Finch, Ryan, Cummings, Gilligan. Third.—Opie, Burns, Harding, Pemberton, Ashman, Muir, D. Love, Brough, Fox, Ford, S. Love, F. Kirk, A. Foote; emergencies, Kent, Featherston; referee, J. Haseman. Central sent a team to Christchurch last night to play Avon this afternoon. The team is as follows: —Bexar, Taylor, W. Littlejohn, McMahon, Wilkins, Devehn, Le Waxne, Walker, Whittington, Anderson, O’Connell, Thomson, Wilkins Hyndman, Tingey. ’ The following players have been selected to represent the City Club in its match with Linwood (Christchurch) Club at Emerson street at 2.45 this afternoon: —Vear, Salisbury, Aamodt, Irving, Hendereon, Brien, Preston, Ryan, CRGrady, Waaka, Beggs, Bevan, Scales, Keys Hansen.
