Bevan, the missing insurance company director, who is wanted by the police for fraud, has been in regular communication with persons in England by means of a special courier known to some of Bevan’s business colleagues. The Hon. Richard Fellowes, who lost heavily in the Bevan crash, told the “Daily Alail,” “I have had a verbal message from Bevan, to the effect that he is sorry he ‘left us in the cart,’ but that he hoped we would come out of it as well as possible.”
