WEATHER PROSPECTS.
(Bv the Government Meteorologist.) Present indications (4 p.in. yesterday) are for easterly winds, strong to gale, and weather cloudy to overcast, with heavy rain probably following shortly northward of .Bast Cape and ICawhia. Moderate to strong east to north winds elsewhere, with increasing cloud and haziness generally. Barometer fall everywhere.
