WELLINGTON RUGBY LEAGUE. MEETING OF COMMITTEE. The weekly moot ing of the Wellington Rugby League executive was held at the Trades Hall last evening. Those preB3nt were: Messrs J. S, Keegan (chairman), Martin, Bucklond, Bourko, Duncan, Snow, Jackson, and T. R. White (secretary). Mr W. B. Stock, of the Auckland Referees’ Association, was welcomed by tho chairman, and in thanking the committee for the courtesy extended to him said that it was Iris intention to take an active part in the League’s progress in Wellington. It was decided to invite the Canter, bury senior and junior representative teams to play against Wellington representative teams on Juno 10th. It was announced that a Linwood Club team was visiting Wellington on June 3rd and would meet a team from tho city cluh. The formation of a Referees’ Association was decided upon. Mr Stock was appointed to take charge of the match between Linwood and City clubs. Messrs S. J. Keegan, Bourke, and White wero appointed a. committee to arrange details respecting tho Canterbury fixture.
