DEATH FROM BURNS
VERDICT AT IK QUEST DANGER OF USING FLANNELETTE. FEB I'EESS ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, May 29. Josephine Pearl Kenny, of Otakia, aged three years, was standing in front of a fire on Saturday evening, afier having a bath, when her night- | dress ignited, severely burning her Hie child was removed to Dunedin hospital, where she succumbed yesterday morning. At the inquest a verdict was returned of death due to shock, following extensive burns. Hie Coroner, Mr H. TV. Bundle, S.M., commented on the danger of using flannelette as night clothing.
