BIG DAMAGES AWARDED
MOTOR-CAR COLLIDES WITH BICYCLE. FKtl TOESS ASSOCIATION. WANGANUI, May 29. After a hearing extending over three days a Supreme Court jury this evening awarded £531 damages in tho ,-ase in° which Andrew Doig proceeded 1 against G. J. Harford, of Feilding, for j damages arising out of a collision lie- ) tween plaintiff’s son and defendant’s . motor-car. Doig junior was riding a bicycle j when the collision occurred. As a j result his thigh was broken and leg j is now an inch shorter.
