EASTBOURNE CLUB EASTHR TOURNAMENT A GREAT SUCCESS. HOW THE GAMES WENT. Tlie Eastbourne Club's fourth Easter tournament proved a great success, tlm weather being ideal and the greens in excellent order. The Cromwell howling tournament was resumed to-day. Heavv rain fell in the early morning and prevented the re-' sumption of play until 1 o’clock and only two greens were playable. In the semi-finals of the provincial rinks Tonkin (North,East Valley) 14 beat Owen (Balmacewen) 9. , Sanders (Kaituna) is to meet Henaghan (Caledonian) on Saturday morning and the winner will meet Tonkin in the final of the men’s singles championship.
