WELLINGTON CITY LICENSE FjSES. EXPLOSIVES ACT REGULATIONS. By Order-in-Council gazetted yesterday the provisions contained in the Wellington city by-law No. 1, 1908, regarding the license fees to be charged for the storage of dangerous goods are revoked, and in lieu thereof the following provisions are made:— The following fees shall be payable by the applicant for a license to store dangerous goods upon the issue thereof to (1) For a license for the storage of dan. gerous goods of class 1 or class 2 kept for private use only, and not for trade or sale purposes, in any quantity—(a) not exceeding 32 gallons, &si (b) not exceeding 30 gallons,. 10s; (c) not exceeding 200 gallons^ (2) For a license not, within the provisions of sub-clause (1) of this clause for the storage of dangerous goods of class 1 or of class 2 or of class 4 in any quantity—(a) not exceeding 32 gallons, 10s» (b) ndt exceeding 80 gallons, XI; (c) not exceeding 200 gallons, XI 10s; (d) not exceeding 1600 gallons, X2 2e; (e) not exceeding 5000 gallons, £5-, (f) not exceeding 100,000 gallons, £7 10s; (g) exceeding or that may exceed 100,000 gallons, .£lO. (3) For a license for the storage of dangerous goods of class 3 only in any quantity exceeding 2lb of phosphorous or 50ib calcium carbide, XI. (4) For a license for the storage in underground depots only of dangerous goods of class 1, of class 2, or of class 4 in any quantity—(a) not exceeding 1600 gallons, •£1; (b) not exceeding 5009 gallons, X2; (c) not exceeding 100,000 gallons. X 5; (d) exceeding or that may exceed 100,000 gallons, £7 10s. (5) For a license for the storage of dangerous goods of class 1 in quantities not exceedinglo gallons on premises used for dry cleaning or other industrial purposes a special fee of £2.
