A correspondent writing to the "'Christchurch Sun/* gives an account of a rather queer matrimonial venture. He writes: —"T can inform you of a case in a small township not quite 100 miles from Christchurch, where a father and daughter married a sister and brother. As the man is the father of eleven children by his first marriage, and 'llls wife is one of a family of about ton, you can imagine that in a coxintry town where families marry and intermarry this causes endless complications in. relationship and connections. The man'* son-in-low is also his brother-in-law. and he is uncle to his own grandchildren The more you studv it out, the more of a tangle you find it."
