PRINCE OF WALES
COMING VISIT TO JAPAN. HEARTY WELCOME ASSURED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. TOKIO, March 17. The preparations to entertain the Prince of Wales -in Japan are complete. The welcome will be the most elaborate ever staged in Japan. Apart from the court and official circles, the common people are keenly interested in the Royal visitor. A special railway train, with coaches designed and defcorated by Japan’s foremost artists, will be used for the tour. Millions of British flags have been manufactured, and the Imperial palaces and other places where the Prince will stay will be lavishly decorated. PRINCE LEAVES INDIA RENOWN BOUND FOR COLOMBO. DELHI, March 17. - The Prince arrived at Karachi this morning, and presented colours to the 126th Baluchistan Infantry Regiment. He unveiled a war memorial, and then embarked on the cruiser Comus. At Kiamari harbour he transferred to the Renwon, which left for Colombo.
