NAVAL REDUCTIONS
SAVING TO TAXPAYERS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received March 19, 11.6 p.m.) •WASHINGTON, March 18. The House of Representatives subcommittee on naval appropriations reported that the navail reductions will save the taxpayers at least 175 million dollars next fiscal year, of which nine million dollars will be directly traceable to Conference agreements.
