BUILDING INDUSTRY
A REDUCTION IN WAGES. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received March 19, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 18. A provisional settlement has been reached in the building industry under which the unions have agreed to a reduction of twopence per hour from April and will submit to a ballot of them members a further reduction of twopence, beginning in June.
