FLOODS AT TAIRUA
ROADS WASHED AWAY
(Special to “Timea.”) THAMES, March 17. The Thames county foreman: haa returned from a visit to Tairua, where ho inspected the flood damage. He reports tthat the damage amounts to thousands of pounds. Some roaefo have been washed away. It is stated that Government assistance will be necessary vr tho district will be isolated.
