KARORI CLUB. WILLOUGHBY ,CUP CONTEST. TSEI KABORI DEFENCEI RIFLE CLUB. The Karori Rifle Slub fired the first stage of the Willoughy Cup competition under service conditions last Saturday, at the 2CO and 300 yards distances. Good weather conditions prevailed, and some fine shooting was put up. The autstanding feature of the day’s shoot was the fine performance of-Rifleman H. Murton, who headed the list with 130 points. President H. Marshall showed a welcome return to form with two twenty-fours in the first two matches, and 32 in No. 5 match (seven shots, tsec each shot). He came second on the list with 125 points, with Deputy-President H. CToxton, Riflemen Ohing and Dayman on the same mark. The best range scores at 300yds were Turner 44 and C. Whiteman 48 at 500 yards. The scores were as under:—

Next Saturday the club will fire the second match of this series at ranges 600 and 600 yards The club will fire their annual home and home match with Kiwi Riflo Club, Dunedin, on Saturday, April Ist, the Suburbs will fire at Trentham.
