N.S.W. TEAM SELECTED. SYDNEY, March 5. The New South Wales team has been selected to take part in South Austra lia’s annual tournament, which commences at Adelaide on March 18th. An invitation was extended players.desiring to make the trip to send in their names to, the secretary ‘of the association. From those forwarded the following team was • picked:—H. Rice, R. V. Thomas, E. Jordan, and Rev. L. G. Watson (winner of country singles championship at the January carnival). "It was hoped that either BayJey (Orange), A. Sieler (Goulburn). or the two Spencers ,Barbara) would have been available, but their names were not submitted. The singles and doubles championship of South Australia- will be among the events decided.
Arrangements are being made for the New Soith AVales tournament, which will begin in Sydney on April 2Sth. A strong Victorian team, including Patterson, O'Hara Wood. Hawkes, and possibly Brookes,• will take part. A likely feature will be another meeting between J. O. Anderson and Patterson.
