WEATHER PROSPECTS
(By the Government Meteorologist.) Present indications (4 p.m. yesterday) are-for high southerly to westerly winds, and cold, squally weather, with, heavy rain in many parts of the country, and! snow on higher levels in the south. The barometer has a temporary rising tendency.
