A RECORD OE PROGRESS. Although the bank balance at the end ot the year 6tood at -£ll 9s 9d less than at the commencement, stated the report, it would be noticed that the club’s obligation to repair the clubhouse on leaving had been disposed of by cash payment, thus simplifying the balance-sheet and relieving the club’s responsibilities in the future. Arrangements had been made for a continuance of the occupation of the links for this without increased expense. The club had been fortunate in securing the services of a working professional and coach, and. the links were already in good condition, giving promise of a splendid season’s play.
