PERSIAN GENDARMES FIGHT COSSACKS. Australian end N.Z. CVbl* Asaocsatfow. TEHERAN, February 6. Gendarmes in the Azerbaijan province, unwilling to servo under s Cbesack commander, attacked Tabriz. After a with the Cossacks, who are now prisoners in the barracks, the gendarmes occupied the town. The Nationalist Party has joined them. The Governor-General was arrested, and a deputy-Governar has been appointed.
