SUPREME COURT
AN ACTION SETTLED. The action taken by Marian Moore in the Supreme Court against Alexander Moore, regarding the administration of an estate, has been settled by agreement. The plaintiff stated, through her counsel, Mr E. G. Jellicoe, that she withdrew all claims and charges against the defendant. Mr T. C- A. Hislop, for the defendant, agreed to the settlement, and asked His Honour, Mr Justice Hoeking, if he would say whether, in his opinion, the evidence given had showed any taint of suspicion of dishonourable conduct, on the part of the defendant. His Honour answered that, he was of the opinion that the defendant had aoted 'as an honourable and straightforward man, and that his evidence had been given in a truthful and candid manner. He was glad that the breach in the family might be healed.
