LATEST PRICES RULING. Messrs Dalgety and Company. Limited, report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date of the 28th instant:—"Butter: Danish butter, demand checked owing to high prices asked 238 s to 2435, but fair demand for new Australasian finest quality salted, 175 s to 180 s. exceptionally 184 s; lower qualities, 150 s to 1745; un. salted supplies small at 6s premium. New Zealand, small snpnly, 300 s to 204 e Government prices lower. 13s New Zealand, 30b Australian, without materially improved demand. Market quotations Australian 135 sto 1655, New Zealand 1935. "Cheese—Now Zealand coloured 80s to 90s, white 88s to 965; market quiet. Canadian, c.i.f., price October make 875."
