The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated 29th instant, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London: MEAT. Supplies continue plentiful. Trade slow and prices show weaker tendency, sales being made in some cases under prices quoted. Current quotations are:— New Zealand Mutton.—October 22nd : Lightweight 6Jd, heavyweight sid, ewes 4fd.
