Those who witnessed that game will remember how the excitement ran high towards the finish, the "score being two goals each. Through some misunderstanding Canterbury broke away, th<r Wellington players standing still, and Baxter scored for Canterbury : 3—2. E. 'Norman, who is captain of the visitors, is the only flayer who took part in the game, while Mr H. Dawson was referee on that occasion, ahd will carry the wlustle to-day.
