MAURETANIA ON FIRE
SERIOUS OUTBREAK AT SOUTH. ‘AMPTON.

LONDON, Jnlv 25. * A serious fire broke out on tbe Mauretania at Southampton, and at one time the gigantic Cunarder was in danger of sinking, owing to tho ton of water the firemen poured in, I—♦ the pumps were manned, and the ship was righted. The fire commenced in . a state room, and burnt for several hours, the flames leaping to a great height.
