(By the Government Meteorologist.) Present indications (1 p.m. yesterday) are for easterly gales northward of Gisborne and Kawhia, and strong southeasterly winds' ruling elsewhere. Expect dull and misty weather, rain following generally, and probably heavy in the north. Barometer failing everywhere. (Summary on last page.)
