TRUCULENT “REDS”
CAUSE TROUBLE ON A LINER. LOYALISTS’ STERN MEASURES. Australian, and N.Z. Cable Association (Received July 25, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, July 25. During the Ormonde’s voyage home the third-class passengers begun hot “Red” propaganda, one declaring that his mission was to dosaffeot British soldiers. After leaving Colombo the other passengers sang “God Save the King.” The “Reds” refused to stand or uncover, whereupon <xn ugly rush ensued. Missiles were thrown at the truculent propagandists, who were threatened with being thrown overboard. Officers intervened and rescued the “Reds,” who were isolated in another part of the ship.
