WEATHER FORECAST.
(By the Government Meteorologist.) Present indications (1 p.m. yesterday) are for easterly winds, strong to gale, northward of Kawhia and Gisborne, and moderate to strong south-easterly winds hacking to northerliee, and then increasing ’elsewhere. Cloudy and unsettled weather is likely to prevail, with rain following generally, and heavy rain soon in tho northern districts. Barometer fall everywhere. (Summary on last page-)
