Following is the progress report for fortnight ended July 81st, 1921: Mount Lyell Mine.—No. 5 level cutting plait and winch chamber of engine winze. No. 8 level, shaft timbering in progress at engine winze rise. North Mount lyell Mine: TOOtt level, No. 11, wince sunk 2ft in hard quartzitic ore. Reduction Works: One furnace in blast during fortnight. 4149 tons of blister copper consigned to .the refinery for the current year. Concentrator: Picking plant operated 93i hours and put through 3576 tons of North Lyell ore, 936 tone of sorted ore were consigned to furnaces, and 2627 tons of reject ore and fines sent to mill. The mill operated 295 hours and treated 2947 tons of ore, producing 375 tons of jig concentrates and 453 tons of flotation concentrates. N.Z. DAIRY PRODUCE. BUTTER AND CHEESE. Dalgety and Company.
