LEAGUE FOOTBALL
MEETING OF COMMITTEE. The weekly meeting of the Wellington Rugby League was held last' evening, Mr F. C. Evans uresiding. The following members were also present:—Messrs B. Croghen, E. Cooper, E. Tovey, C. Snow, C. Murphy, and the secretary \J. Murphy). ' The Petone Club was granted permission to travel to Christchurch to play the Kaiapoi Club on August 10th. The arrangements for .the exhibition that the Australasian team will give m Wellington during its visit -will be completed when the sailing date of the Tahiti is ascertained.
The South Auckland league wrote confirming the date arranged for the Wellington game, August 3rd.
