REPRESENTATIVE GAME WAIRARAPA DEFEATS WEELINUTON. AN INTERESTING! MATCH. (By Telegrapli—Special to "Times.") MASTERTON, July 23. The Wairarapa and Wellington semo-r hockey representatives met at Masterton this afternoon. The weather was most'unfavourable, a cold wind blowing up the field of play and showers ox rain failing at intervals. The ground was very heavy, and the players had difficulty at times in keeping their feet. The teams were as follow: — Wellington.—Goal, Hunter ; full-backs, Harper, Thorpe; halves, Mclntosh, TrUt'ord. Scott; .forwards, Wilson, Johns, Stratton, Smith, Phillpotts. Wairarapa.—Goal, Ordish; full-backs, C. Bannin, Dixon; halves, W. Bannin, Neil-sen, Livingstone: forwards, Nyhane, Foster, Thompson, Tunnicliffe. Devonport. - - Wairarapa set up an attack almost from bully off, Livingstone, Devonport, and Tunnicliffe being conspicuous- tor good work.
