Unemployment in the printing trade at Home is rife just now, over 45,000 drawing unemployment pay. Iho Master Printers’ Association (May last) report that there is grave anxiety concerning the immediate future both in targe and small newspaper offices, and “newspaper enterprise is at a standstill.” The reduction in all kinds of commercial and jobbing printing is most seriously affecting every printing office fm the Old Country.
