The auxiliary schooner Zita will load coke at Miramar wharf to-day, and is to sail this evening for Picton. The vessel will load general cargo at Picton for YV ollington.

Murray, Roberts and Co. advise that the Canadian Planter is to leave Wellington at 5 p.m. to-day for Lyttelton to complete discharge and to load for .Netv York and Montreal.

W. M. Bannatyne and Co. advise that the Waimea is expected to reach Wellington on ' Friday morning from Wanganui. She will sail on Friday evening for Nelson, Westport and Greymouth The Komata left Westport at 9.30 a.m. yesterday for 'Wellington with a cargo of coal and a number of passengers. She is due here this morning, andpis to sail on Saturday for Westport again. The Union Company advise that the Kittawa and Kamo are expected to arrive at Wellington on Friday from Westport and Greymouth, respectively, with cargoes of coal. The Pelican left the wharf at 1.80 o'clock yesterday morning, but as the weather was dirty and there was a considerable sea, she did not place the pilot aboard and got hold of the ship until 6.50 a.m., at about five miles dub south of the heads.
