SUPPLY* FOR NEXT WINTER. A SATISFACTORY' AGREEMENT. It is tuyierstooct that a very satistorv agreement, both to the suppliers and to the City Council, baa been arrived at between the Otaki dairy farmers and the City Council mQk committee, in regard to the contracts for the supply of milk to the city next winter. The chairman (Mr C. J. B. Norwood) rod membeiw of the committee held a conference on Monday evening with :he country suppliers from Otaki and listrict, at which the question of prices rod other incidental matters connected with next year’a supply were fully discussed. The nature of the agreement win not be announced until it has been ratified. , In conversation with .a “Times” representative yesterday Cbunclllar Norwood declined to divulge the details of the arrangement arrived at, but
spoke in terms of satisfaction of the result of the conference, and' of the conciliatory nature of the negotiations.
